Why does Hinduism face attacks, criticism, and ridicule? As the oldest Dharma, Hinduism has suffered from theological distortions over its long journey through the ages. The Srishti Sankalpam (creation theory) itself has undergone distortions.
The Inadequacy of Past Ages: During the eras of Treta Yuga and Dwapara Yuga, souls could not easily pass beyond the intermediate celestial stages because those ages belonged entirely to the domain and governance of the Devas.
The Prayer of the Rishis: According to the Puranas, the Devas themselves must eventually take human birth to attain absolute liberation. This explains why ancient, highly evolved Rishis actively prayed, “May we be allowed to witness Kali.” They intensely desired human birth in Kali Yuga specifically to stand at the feet of the manifested Lord and claim final liberation.
The Ashram’s Ultimate Mandate: The overarching task of the Santhigiri Ashram tradition is to operationalize this cosmic opportunity. It provides a systematic pipeline designed to transform a human being into a Deva, elevate that Deva into a Rishi, and finally launch that Rishi into the path of absolute liberation.
To participate in this work, seekers must build an unwavering foundation of faith, discard the obsolete worship of intermediate deities, and adopt a unified system of worship aligned strictly with the Dharma of the current age.
